Our CERT classes run Friday through Sunday and consist of 20 hours of training. You may take this class as many times as you desire as we want you to feel comfortable with the knowledge we are sharing. The class is free to take.

This is a fun, interactive workshop using a unique role-player model to engage participants in a safe learning opportunity. The focus is on accessible emergency communications in an evacuation scenario, but the information will also provide an overall understanding of communicating with differently abled people, both as potential CERT team members and with respect to providing them with appropriate and necessary assistance in the event of an emergency or major disaster. The workshop is targeted for CERT volunteers, and is also useful for all emergency responders, including EMS, Fire, and Police.

November 2 @ 09:30 am – Whidbey Telecom Freeland Conference Center – Disaster Medicine: Dr. Robert Mitchell from Disaster Medicine Project is providing an outstanding presentation on the uniqueness of disaster medicine. This is an outstanding speaker with so much knowledge to share.
